Beloved Stanford Men's Volleyball Assistant Coach Dies

Alfonso Roderigues, who has been an assistant men's volleyball team at Stanford University for the last 18 years and who has battled stomach cancer for the last 16 months, passed away Friday. Roderigues was a teacher in the same school district for 38 years and assistant with the Cardinal after former Stanford coach Don Shaw saw how well he interacted with players at a summer camp.
