Coaches Working For Free To Help School

The boys and girls basketball coach, as well as the football coach (who also serves as athletic director), are working for free at the Oak Ridge Military Academy (Oak Ridge, N.C.). Nike is donating $40,000 of equipment to the school. Otis Yelverton, the football coach and athletic director, said he negotiated the Nike deal through his relationship with the University of Oregon athletics department.
