Difibrillator Saves Football Player's Life

On March 3, 16-year-old Johnathan Moore, a football player for Glenda Dawson High School (Texas), was running with his teammates in preparation of football practice. He collapsed, his heart stopped beating and he had no pulse. The school had an automated external difibrillator available and used it to shock Moore's heart, which caused the heart to start beating again. The difibrillator, combined with CPR and quick thinking by team trainers, saved Moore's life.
