Sam Houston State Baseball Coach Wins 1,000th Game

In his 25th season as a head baseball coach, Sam Houston State's Mark Johnson won his 1,000th game Sunday with an 8-6 victory over the University of Texas-San Antonio. Johnson coached Texas A&M for 21 years and has spent the last four at Sam Houston State. His career record is 1,000-517-3.
