6 McMinnville High (Ore.) Football Players Hospitalized

Six McMinnville High School (Ore.) football players were hospitalized yesterday as a result of injuries sustained during an "immersion camp" conducted by first-year coach Jeff Kearin. The camp was held in preparation for the start of fall-sports practices on Monday. The football players were diagnosed with "compartment syndrome" after complaining about soreness and swelling in the triceps muscles.
