Coach Suing School, Still Elected To Athletics Hall Of Fame

Ed Nizwantowski, the former head baseball coach at Peabody High (Mass.), who was let go in 2005, and subsequently sued the school district over age discrimination, has been elected to the school's athletic hall of fame. In 2005, Nizwantowski was 58 when he was fired as baseball coach. The school said the decision stemmed from his temperament and drug use by some players.
