Right underneath the title says it all - "When Anonymity is Given Credence, Coaches Have Little Recourse". We are told that administrators are highly-educated people. That being the case, how can they give any credibility to something that doesn't even have a name behind it? It'd be interesting to see what would happen if an anonymous survey were crafted in regards to their job performance. I'm sure they'd say that the parents aren't qualified to make those kinds of judgments...Hmmm, one could say the same thing about the parents' ability to oversee an entire basketball team. The coaches of all other sports at Louisburg surely can't feel very comfortable about their jobs now that they know what kind of backing to expect.

Mr. Podoll really sums it up well, "Does this mean that anonymous data is relevant data?" How can educated people that are supposed to oversee an entire department even consider the answer to be "yes"? Scary stuff!

A feeling I have felt. The superindent of my school district deals with coaches the same way. He then wonders why our programs are so unsuccessful. It's really sad that athlete's must suffer due to his meddling ways
